Compton Scattering Total Cross Section at Next-to-Leading Order

چکیده
An analytic formula is given for the total scattering cross section of an electron and a photon at order $\alpha^3$. This includes both double-Compton real-emission contribution as well virtual Compton part. When combined with recent result pair-production section, complete $\alpha^3$ now known. Both next-to-leading calculation are computed using modern multiloop techniques, where cut diagrams decomposed into set master integrals that then differential equations.
